Sinopsis

Ambientada en la década de 1930 en Shanghai, Cheng Yi Zhi, que proviene de una familia pobre, conoce a Wu Ru Fu, un banquero, y a su hija Li Zi. Inspirado por Wu, Cheng Yi Zhi deja su trabajo como empresario y entra en la industria financiera; y se convierte en el confidente más cercano del propietario del banco, Boss Huang. Sin embargo, descubre que Boss Huang causó la muerte de Wu Ru Fu, y también se confabuló con varias fuerzas para construir un imperio de dinero negro. Cheng Yi Zhi decide dejar Boss Huang y se une a Li Zi para crear una nueva industria bancaria. Sin embargo, se enfrentan a la oposición de Boss Huang y los japoneses. Con la ayuda del partido clandestino, Cheng Yi zhi trabaja junto con la gente de la industria para revitalizar al republicano.
